I know that there is a lot of data on the failures of on-lot septics, but I would love to see actual science around this issue to better understand the actual vs. perceived dangers here. Everyone has reasonable concern about this but to what extent this would truly threaten our water supply isn't clear. Does anyone have information on that?
We have an opportunity and a challenge in the same issue. Thousands of people coming every weekend to see all the beauty and wonderful things Jim Thorpe has to offer and many more to come in the near future. Will we plan for those people in a responsible way? Or continue to allow challenges to become problems that we have to struggle to address in real time? Please support the plan and consider becoming part of the conversation.
